Woven Rose Border Embroidery Pattern (PDF)
This pattern is a lovely staple in my embroidery kitchen and it is commonly requested as a border for anniversary gifts, wedding and baby announcements and quotes. You can use to it highlight and beautify any text or other needlework! I included a floss key for the classic antiqued grey toned hoop, but this pattern looks amazing with any color combination! The pattern includes 2 versions of the pattern which allows you some control over how thick you would like your border to be around the edge of your embroidery hoop. Finished Measurements Banner: 11” W x 17” L The printable PDF instructions include a color photograph, detailed diagrams, stitch glossary and assembly directions you’ll need to stitch this welcoming design. Materials you’ll need to make this project: 12”W x 20”L piece of linen, quilting cotton or a vintage pillowcase for banner background or (3) 9” x 9” pieces of linen, canvas or quilting cotton for mounted hoop backgrounds.
