I have re-stitched this original design in soft Victorian colours for nostalgia. This elegant and simple silk ribbon design is suitable for a beginner to attempt. It measures 7.5cm or 3 inches in diameter. The design is screened onto a soft green silk dupion. It is supplied as a full kit which includes design screened onto silk fabric, needles, threads and all the ribbons. It can be framed as a picture, inserted into a card, added to clothing, etc. A 13cm or 5 inch hoop/frame is recommended for working this design. Hand sewn ribbon work flower is made with art dyed and ruched antique silk ribbon. There are bendable wired stems and vintage French ombre ribbon leaves. Please choose one of two different designs. Art dyed outer petals with green ombre leaves or art dyed inner petals. Flower measures about 6 inches from leaf tip to leaf tip. There is a pin back for your convenience.

This embroidered bouquet in a cup was embroidered on a linen fabric with silk ribbons and cotton thread. Sign BUT FIRST TEA was stitced with cotton thread.
